create and I.E. P. In my opinion is one of the concepts that all in all educators need to embrace. It in reality does not matter if it is a redundant educator or a general Education Teacher. Being able to range the needs of a student using information such as background family history, assessments, and teacher reports is a tool that gage help differentiate the need of the student. From my experience with the special facts of life process I find it to be very informative. It sets a plan of success for the child and the teacher. The only thing that concerns me from my deliver experience is the attitude of some of the parents. I have a child in my class that has been left back twice in first grade. He is weak in all of his subject area. His reading level is below 1st grade. He gets frustrated when it is time to work.
He needs to be evaluated. I tell the parent my concerns and what she should do. She says okay, when the process starts and the social worker postulate to talk to her she declines. Now this child is in the class needing help. I always work with him in small group. There is this soil about special education and some parents do not understand that receiving services for their child is a benefit. I cerebrate that schools should conduct professional developments for parents and teachers alike talking about the special education process. I think this will bear away the mug off of parents when it comes to this motion of special education.
