Within my snip project, I was asked to create a conventional powder magazine of my desired writing style and tar hurt audience. I analysed twain different music magazines, named Kerrang! and Vibe, to identify the generic conventions and target audience. Those magazines contained split up of images and different fonts and colours to differentiate between the articles. Kerrang! contained mostly glooming colours because they are the favourite of gem stars. It is also a colour which represents their living lifestyle. Both of their names were related to music in some way and no more than four colours on their cover. The title KERRANG!
was written biggest compared to the cover lines because it would be the first thing that the audience would notice so they bargain the magazine. Thats the reason why it should be related to the genre for them to get an idea of what the magazine it about. Both magazines had a mean up of a celebritys picture match their target audience. So Kerrang! put the picture of Oli Sykes because he is a singer in a rock band; and the magazines genre is rock/loud music. There are quizzes, gossips and sometimes adverts about music on the contents and front pages to grab the attention of their audience.
