Capitalism is not a perfect system for everyone. I am sure for the modal(a) greedy millionaire who owns a business, it is great. But, for the average working man or woman, this is not the case. Capitalism creates some problems for many. To Marx and Veblen, the structure and differences of social syndicate was one of these biggest problems. They both buzz off different ideas of how the classes were formed and the roles the men play in participation based on these classes. It is amazing that the ideas the deuce of them have ar still relevant in nows society.
Marx saw two opposing classes. There is the bourgeoisie class which was made up of wealthy business possessors who use their workers. Then there was the Proletariat group which made up these workers who were being exploited for their labor. The conflict grew amongst the production of goods. The upper class gained wealth with the ownership of these laborers. The workers gave time and labor and in unloose lost time and value of self. As profits increase for the business owner, employs dropped for the worker.
Businesss today are finding more and more ways to maximize profits. As businesses are acquire richer I feel that the worker is getting poorer. One might argue and say that minimum profits increases every two years and that the rate justifies the wage. I do not agree with that at all.

.50 cents that the minimum wage increases every two years. Also the increase of profits that the owner makes from year to year far outweighs the wage increase. The workers wage does not decrease in amount but, the wage increase is to windy and too little to keep up with the business owner.
