Affective Disorders are also called way upsets which are psychiatric diseases with multiple aspects, including biological, behavioral, social, and psychological factors. People with unipolar usually do not have the manic wooden leg and it can last for a very dogged m and can affect you two emotionally and physically. Signs of having unipolar disorder are things such as, irritability, nervousness, sadness, hopelessness, decreased sex drive, apathetic, low energy, masturbation from social and family activities, and suicidal images.
Some underlying causes are anxiety, bruise medications, environmental issues, genetics, and there have been theories about the serotonin and norepineprine levels universe low. Treatment for this disorder range from medications such as antidepressants, interpersonal therapy where you work on changing relationships, cognitive therapy where you change your thought patterns, behavioral therapy to work on changing your behavior and in the extreme there is Electroconvulsive Therapy or also called reverse therapy. The shock therapy has become less used because it can have long term side effects.
Bipolar disorder is when you have both ends of the spectrum of mania and depression.
