Jilly Joe
Romeo and Juliet
William Shakespe atomic number 18
Dear Teacher,July 5, 2008
I read Romeo and Juliet this summer, and it was the second Shakespe be play I have read. It is about two young people who be in love, but whose families are in a feud. Juliet is a Capulet and Romeo is a Montague. Even though the two lovers do not care about the difference between their families, their parents would never accept them to marry each other, so they must meet in secret. At the same time, a twist comes up, because Juliets parents are trying to yield her marry another man named County Paris. And, in a brawl one day, Romeo accidentally kills Juliets cousin and is banished from town. Because of all these complications, Romeo and Juliet must run a mien together. However, the plan to form Juliets death so that she can escape with Romeo fails and ends up with the deaths of both Romeo and Juliet.
This is a classic story, and I thought I knew the plot, but only after reading it did I get wind how much more there was to the story. There are some(a) major characters, like the Nurse and the Friar, who offer Romeo and Juliet advice and actually are a infinitesimal guilty for things turning out the way they did.
The tiniest small mistakes make a lot of difference to the characters, and the wall socket of time comes up a lot. If Romeo had been a little more patient in going to Juliet, or if Juliet had been a little less anxious to get married so quickly, a lot of the tragedy might have been averted.
I discover a lot of predictions, or foreshadowing, in this play. The characters frequently have words about death, and the Friar warns them about acting too hastily. Because virtually people issue the story and that the characters die at the end, these little moments make the plot more suspenseful, because they remind the reader of what is to come, and similarly remind the reader that the characters do not yet know it. That kept me intrigued in the plot, even though it sounds like it would make it too...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Orderessay
