As a teenager, my main focus was on my education but on a number of occasions, I participated in the Australian Competitions for schools which were held in my secondary school. The competitions were a treated challenge and every year, the content of the questions would differ. I also teamed up with some classmates for a mathematics competition held in separate secondary school. It was not a very challenging experience but from the experience, I learnt about that school, on teamwork and also met my other friends from other schools who were participating in the competition as well. I was interested in computers and technology since my secondary school days, so I joined the computer club for my CCA, and that was when I learnt to pattern websites. I also took computer studies for my O levels, and then I learnt to make a database. I also learnt to use a graphic editor on my own due to my face-to-face interest. Gradually it developed into an interest, and I set up a free website on the internet as well. Since my childhood days, I have been interested in writing stories and essays, as English was my other favourite subject aside from computer studies.

When I watched a drama series that I desire, I would view or come up with ideas on how to write the mishap to the drama and how to introduce new characters. I also liked to bring up ideas from other dramas into the storyline of the sequel I was writing. Eventually, I found a classmate who liked my stories and she would weight-lift me to write. I also found a website that would take in movie and drama reviews, so I started emailing the webmaster to host my reviews. I also like to imagine and that was where I developed my aspiration to write stories. Before I came to Singapore, I was in a local university in my own country.
